The stars of
Monday Meow! and our annual
New Year's cards are sisters from different litters. Both were born strays in
Cypress Park,
on or near my parent's property. Micio is the older of the two and
Mia was born in a box we put out for
Momma Cat when we realized she was pregnant again. Needless to say, we got Momma fixed soon after and rather than releasing her back into the wilds of NELA, my sister and her husband adopted her!
Micio
Talkative, curious and playful, she thinks she's a dog.
Mia
Sleepy and timid, her motor-like purrring can be heard from the next room!
I started
Monday Meow! because like many pet owners, I obsessively take photos of M&M and didn't know what to do with them all. Love these two fuzzballs.
