9.4.2010 - Pasta Dinner

Woke early this morning to a dining table still laden with vestiges of last night's pasta dinner. I loaded the dishwasher with a smile. It had been a long time since we had the family over. Dad wore the snazzy Hawaiian shirt we got for him in Waikiki. He was stylin'.

I did not get any photos of the dinner itself. So, to make up for it, below are photos I took this morning of the pasta, the tortas, and the box of mooncake.

Dinner Menu
  • Pasta: Chicken & Basil sausage with Cremini mushroom and Parmesan cheese
  • Grilled Corn on the cob
  • Fresh fruit: Watermelon, Asian pears, strawberries
  • Spanish torta wafers served with espresso
  • Mooncake
  • Two bottles of Foley Chardonnay and a champagne!

    I love those Spanish tortas! Have you had the other flavours before? I haven't, but hear they are good too.

    i had no idea there were other flavors! will have to keep my eye out for them. these are perfectly not too sweet!
