Jenny and Chi introduced us to this chocolatey ale last Saturday. It's only produced January - March and it's so, so good. I might have to locate and horde a case for myself.

CB2 styling has been kind of awesome lately. They even started carrying Woolly pockets! And now, they're offering up these super awesome his/hers bikes.

This is the perfect cruisin' around set of wheels, don't you think? If I wasn't too chicken to ride the mean streets of L.A., I would soooo park one of these bad boys in my garage for trips to the farmer's market, my parents' house, local eateries...

Oh, and the bell comes stock.

2011 Anniversary Weekend Eats Roundup

We had plans to get away, visit the seaside or the desert, explore... but then we checked the weather forecast and decided to switch things up. We stayed in town and had a weekend-long date. Movies, drinks, foooood.







We topped the weekend off by pairing our celebratory bubbles with supermarket takeout. Tee hee!

Three years ago today, I took the day off from work, drove down to the Beverly Hills branch of the L.A. County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk office, and married my beloved. Then we went to Chinatown for dim sum.



It was a good day.

Grayson's Baptism

We were so honored to be part of Grayson's baptism earlier this month. It was at the amazingly modern Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels in downtown. The little guy was startlingly calm throughout the day. Such a sweet kid! And then we took a scenic ride to the ocean for a beautiful luncheon at Inn of the Seventh Ray in Malibu. The sun was shining, the sky was blue, the food tasty.







What a wonderful, wonderful day.

Pre-tax appointment lunch at Sweetsalt Food Shop a few Saturdays ago. Serrano ham + Brie + Fig preserves sandwich. Topped off with a red velvet moonpie. So yummy.

I finally purchased the album. Just an hour ago. I'm entranced.

This song in particular makes my heart get all achy and fluttery. You know, kinda like falling in love.
