In case it isn't obvious, I was Frida Kahlo. Sergio was a '70s "arthouse" filmmaker. His shirt/vest from last year and carefully selected pieces from my jewelery box. It was a lot of fun putting the looks together.
My vampire fangs didn't take. I was so disappointed. They looked really cool for the 5 seconds before they fell off. Oh well. I think my other props made up for it. I even had a clipboard with a blood drive sign up form!
We were a creepy couple, huh?
UPDATE: I actually also added blood to my face, dribbling from one corner of my mouth. But I don't have any photos. Too bad. It looked good.
UPDATE 2: Luckily, Betsy got awesome photos! Check out my bloody drool!
We had a company wide work party yesterday. Each department had a theme. Ours was Zombie Diner. I was a zombie attack victim. The gash looked way more realistic in person. I was so excited to go home and show Sergio but when he opened the door, the first thing he said was, "Ew! Gross!" LOL. He wouldn't give me a baci until I took the makeup off.
I don't know. I think it looked kinda rad.
Anyway. I'm looking forward to a Halloween party tomorrow. Everyone's going to be in costume including us! I get to wear fangs!
Have a fun and safe Halloween my little ghoulies!!
It was an amazing party. I made the blood punch (sangria) and there was plenty of tasty comfort food from Betsy's mom. It was the perfect Halloween house. Sergio and I went over the prior weekend to help decorate. Sergio and I went as Cleopatra and Marc Anthony. Betsy and Justin were Bella and Edward (Scissorhands). One of my favorites was the shark couple - hammerhead and leopard. And, two Johnny Depp characters!
Pictures are more descriptive than words so here ya go peoples. Enjoy!
